Real stories. Real experiences. Real connection.

Join us for the first night of our speaker series: Out Loud: Queer Voices & Futures — an evening centred on real stories, lived experiences, challenges, and moments of pride from queer adults in our community.

There’s no single way to be queer, no single timeline, and no “right” path. Through honest and personal stories, our panelists will share experiences, reflections, and lessons from their journeys.

This is a welcoming space to listen, connect, ask questions, and learn from the experiences of others.

Come as you are, listen with curiosity, and hear queer stories Out Loud.

Elizabeth Granby

Elizabeth Granby is a queer psychotherapist. She has lived in the Centre Wellington community for the past 10 years. She holds an undergraduate degree in disability studies, and a master’s degree in counselling psychology.

Elizabeth and her partner recently celebrated 25 loving years together. They have 2 beautiful dogs, Audrey and Ethel. In her spare time Elizabeth likes to walk her dogs, volunteer in the community, read and bake. Elizabeth is a big fan of human rights!

Clinton Aldersley

I’m a gay husband, parent, and small business owner, and I’m proud to call Centre Wellington home. My husband and I are raising our child here while building our life and business in a community where I’ve always felt comfortable and welcome.

Being able to be open about who I am, who I love, and the family we’ve built means a lot to me, and I’m grateful to be part of a community where we can feel like we belong.

Tiffany Burtch

Tiffany is a mom, a therapist, a writer, widow and witch. She is a long-time resident of Fergus and is active in local community.

When not working or spending time with family, you’ll often find her walking along the river, or sitting by the river, or gazing at the river.
